TVM will feature a ‘Christmas special’ concert on Christmas day afternoon, with tenor Joseph Calleja performing excerpts of popular classical songs from beautiful places around Malta and Gozo. Daphne Cassar gives us a taste of what to expect in this one-hour concert-program.
A special television production on Christmas Day will include the participation of tenor Joseph Calleja and international artists who will perform a number of popular excerpts from some of the most beautiful historical and iconic sites in the Maltese islands.
Tenor Calleja will perform favorite classics like Maria, You’ll Never Walk Alone and Amazing Grace from his most recent album “The Magic of Mantovanni” and other excerpts like Recondita Armonia and E Lucevan le Stelle by Puccini.

Excerpts from the late legendary composer Enrico Morricone will also be played.
The English soprano Carly Paoli, the Italian soprano Carmen Giannattasio, the master Gianliuca Marciano and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will join Calleja.

The concert, produced by NNG Promotions in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, Bank of Valletta and Heritage Malta, will be delivered from venues such as Mdina, the Grand Harbour,Ggantija temples, the Curia, churches and basilicas.
